Mayors of all the six municipal councils in Douala and their councilors met with the Government delegate Fritz Ntone Ntone yesterday at the Bonanberi Douala 4 council hall in the presence of the Senior District Officer for the 12th collaboration platform.  The gathering that receiver the presence of Douala traditional rulers witnessed a massive attendance.

Creating this initiative was a good idea as there was a lot of misunderstanding in the city of Douala as to which was the right channel for users to pay some dues, the community of the local council. Speaking in the assembly, the SDO underlined the beneficial effect that the collaboration has brought to the city of Douala, especially with the good management of the Internally Displaced Persons coming from the troubled Anglophone region.

Taking the floor, Frits Ntone Ntone pointed out that the collaboration initiative will help both the municipal council and the Government Delegates’ office to fight the ills that have been submerging the city lately such as insecurity and urban disorder. He admitted that a lot needs to be done, though a lot has been done already. He pointed out the big projects that have been carried out in the city such as the second bridge on the wouri river among other and unveiled a couple like the fly over to be built in the Ndokoti round about, the road at the Yassa entrance of the town, Logbessou and others to bring in some development in the town. In light note with the musical interlude of Yrima Afoakom and the very lively Bonaberi Ambas Bay group trilled the attendance. The flag for the 2020 collaboration forum left from the Doouala District to the Douala 2 District.
