SDF DOUALA 5 MUNICIPAL COUNCIL CANDIDATE SPEAKS OUT

Ace journalist Kejang Henry Atembeh now politician vying for the position of municipal councilor under the umbrella of the Social Democratic Front (SDF) in the Douala 5 municipal constituency opened up to PNEWS magazine as campaign waters boil to evaporation. The politician who lives in the said constituency and very close to the populace knowing their problems to finger tips, has decided to give them solutions by means of a democratic election.

To name a few of the day-to-day hindrance to a good living of the Douala 5 population that Mr Kejang has noticed are; the improper taxation system that weighs to the small businesses around, untidy environment that will bring illnesses to the population in a short run, blocked gullies that floods the road during rainy seasons, bad roads that are a stone to every citizen’s shoes. The politician with his SDF electoral list says he has an adequate solution. “Douala is a coastal area, making roads with the tar is inappropriate, expensive and the roads do not last. I think that making roads with pavement will last longer and it is more adapted to the landscape. As such we in SDF  think that creating an enterprise that produces the pavement, youths will be employed since they are the once to produce and place the pavements on the roads. This will go a long way to solve youth unemployment problem in Douala 5” He said. On taxes he said that there must be an exoneration of taxes for the new businesses for a period of time. To keep the economy of the environment alive.

The politician adopted the door to door strategy for his campaign. “We went to association around, to cultural groups, youth associations, we met the people in the neighborhood and we made posters.
