SOS; 300 CAMEROONIANS TRAPPED IN WUHAN, CHINA

300 hundred Cameroonians students blocked in the Chinese city of Wuhan, epicenter of the Corona virus have send an SOS letter to president Paul Biya requesting for an evacuation as they are blocked indoors and have run out of foodstuffs. The young Cameroonians say that they have tried all moves with the Cameroonian embassy in china in view of an eventual evacuation but have received no reply, that is the reason why they address their letter directly to the Head of State.

Wuhan has been put in quarantine since the 23^rd January and other countries have been actively evacuating their nationals. The government has not reacted yet since the arrival of the message and there is no panic in Cameroon as concern the virus.

However, the Minister of public health has published some measures on how the frontiers of the country will be controlled and reinforced in the days ahead. Dr Manauda Malachi says that thermal cameras, thermos flash and other control kid will be installed in the airports of the country. He also advice on attitudes that citizens should adopt in an eventuality of the virus. Such as wearing a mouth and nose mask, washing hands frequently, avoiding to touch eyes, mouth and nostrils, avoiding crowded arears, covering mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing and finally cooking meat well before eating.
