TERRORIST ATTACKS IN THE NORTH OF BURKINA FASO

Terrorist armed groups attacked the Bukina military positions Tuesday morning at Arbinada in the north of the country. Air support permitted the soldiers to send away the assailants. 35 civilians were reported dead among whom were 31 women, 7 soldiers were killed and about 80 assailant too.

Report says that at about 6am that morning, a group of armed vehicles lunched an attack on two sites in Arbinda in the Soube province north of Bourkina Faso. A vehicle loaded with explosives drove into a military detachment, the explosion was followed by gun shots. Meanwhile the civilians were targeted by another group. Among the civilian population were numerous internally displaced people due to previous attacks in their localities. According to eyewitness, the fighting lasted for many hours. Military chief of staff says a lot of Burkina warplanes were used to curb the assailants. They were pursuit on ground, according to a military officer. About 80 terrorists were caught, hundreds of motorbikes and a lot of weapons were seized.
