WHO not accepte Madagascar’s Artemisia discovery to cure corona.

The president of Madagascar Adry Rajoelina announced to the world that his country has discovered the treatment for Covid-19. “Africa is united and is developing solutions against covid-19 thanks to its natural resources”. Rajoelina said in a tweet and published an image of him taking the medication for prevention of the virus.  “The president of DR Congo, President Felix Tshisekedi congratulates us for the ameliorated version of traditional medicine, Covid-Organic” He added. President Macky Sall of Senegal has also saluted Madagascar’s effort in the research to get a cure for covid-19. It should be recall that the World Health Organization did not appreciate Madagascar launching publicly their home made medication for covid-19 as the director general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus did not show up or sent a representative.

Artemisia is a plant that grows in Africa and in China as well. It was used in 2005 for the cure of the two forms of coronavirus; SARS-Cov and MERS-Cov. Then WHO did not say anything. The question now is, why is the organization refusing to acknowledge that an African country has found a cure for the deadly pandemic using the same plant?  Artemisia was well known for its use to cure malaria but the use of it to save many lives in Africa is new and it will be a great idea if Africa could cure malaria using plants from its own soil. It is paradoxical that the treatment form malaria should be coming from a continent that does not have malaria.
