YAOUNDE 48th UPF ASSEMBLEY

The activities of the 48^th assembly of the French press association called Union International the la Presse Francophone (UPF) kicked opened this day in Yaoundé Cameroon with a friendly football match fitting a selection of male journalists from many different French countries and a selection of former Indomitable Lion players. The friendly football match that started this morning at 9am saw the former football star Ambassador Roger Milla and a host of his former team mates mesmerized the chairing crowd at the Yaoundé Military stadium and carried the day by 3 goals to nil.

The five days French press men summit enters day 2 tomorrow Tuesday 19^th November at the Yaoundé Hilton Hotel with Prime Minister Dion Ngute assisting the gathering. Meanwhile this year’s theme of the assembly is “journalism of emission, journalism of information”. The press men assembly intend to drill the journalists on how to separate their emotions from the information passed on to the public.
